On the Ground explores how the release of force and energy can coalesce into form. It may be rage, the roar of pain inflicted, or the roar of helplessness. The accumulated forces, whether absorbed or permitted to be absorbed, are not directed at any specific target. They are closer to an act of ignition, a gesture of rising up with all one's might. The spoken and the unspoken, the perceived and the unperceived—all that accumulated time remains as energy hidden beneath the surface.
